AK Bell Library
The AK Bell Library in Perth is a bright, open building where you can relax, have a snack, read and learn, treat yourself or socialise. It offers a broad range of borrowing, information and learning services for all ages. You can learn about the history and culture of the region, borrow the latest thriller or romance, read the local newspaper or bring your children to our storytelling sessions. Built in 1836 as the Perth City and County Infirmary the library gets its name from Arthur Kinmond Bell (1868 – 1942) of the whisky dynasty.
